In terms of software, the Realme 9 5G runs Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 and had a fair amount of bloatware onboard.
At the back, the Realme 9 5G sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, a black and white portrait camera and a macro camera. Photos clicked in daylight were decent but lacked details. Closeup, portraits and macros were a lot better. Lowlight camera performance was strictly average.
